Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal codes
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders
- Develop construction documentation and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or structural design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of local permitting processes and regulations
- LEED AP certification a plus
