Responsibilities
- Oversee design and construction of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000)
- Ensure all designs meet sustainability standards and ADA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, and GIS systems
- Proven track record of managing large-scale transportation or water projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Master's degree or EIT certification preferred
