Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water systems, and structural developments
- Conduct site investigations, analyze geotechnical data, and develop cost-effective engineering solutions
- Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal and private sector clients
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycle
- Implement sustainable design principles and advanced BIM/CAD modeling technologies
- Oversee quality assurance processes and resolve complex engineering challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record with TxDOT, Harris County, or municipal permitting processes
- Familiarity with FEMA floodplain regulations and stormwater management best practices
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
