Responsibilities
- Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead site investigations, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, City of Houston) for permitting compliance
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit for detailed design and modeling
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in civil design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Experience with TxDOT and local municipality permitting processes
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and soil mechanics
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects on schedule
