Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for 3-5 concurrent projects
- Coordinate with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions for transportation and environmental challenges
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and career development planning
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and geotechnical analysis software
- Demonstrated success managing complex municipal and transportation projects
- Strong understanding of TxDOT, FEMA, and EPA regulations
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 5+ engineers
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations
