Responsibilities
- Design and oversee construction of multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and transit systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians during all project phases
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, TAC guidelines, and municipal regulations
- Conduct advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license in good standing with OACETT
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and transportation planning
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with LEED and sustainable design principles
