Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects >$10M in value
- Deep knowledge of TxDOT standards and FEMA floodplain regulations
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
- Strong leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams
