Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of transportation, water resources, and structural systems
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies using GIS and BIM technologies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors/subcontractors
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software (SAP2000, ETABS)
- Ensure ADA compliance and sustainable design practices in all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and City of Austin permitting processes
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Expertise in stormwater management and erosion control systems
- Excellent written/verbal communication and client presentation abilities
