Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Prepare detailed construction documents, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FHWA, OSHA)
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with contractors, architects, and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of technical deliverables
- Implement sustainable design practices and BIM technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M
- Strong understanding of TCEQ permitting processes
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
