Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil projects including transportation, water resources, and structural systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and regulatory compliance (TCEQ, FEMA, OSHA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating LEED and green infrastructure principles
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government agencies during all project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural design and transportation infrastructure
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and analysis software
- Demonstrated project management of $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Texas infrastructure funding mechanisms and permitting processes
