Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion
- Perform structural analysis and hydraulic modeling for infrastructure systems
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Prepare technical documentation including plans, specifications, and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with transportation and water resource projects
- Strong knowledge of Texas construction codes and permitting processes
- Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
