Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead project teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Develop detailed construction plans, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Conduct site investigations, analyze soil data, and recommend foundation solutions
- Coordinate with municipal agencies for permitting and compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Excellent project management and client communication skills
