Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform complex hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications from conception to completion
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Develop sustainable solutions integrating green infrastructure and climate resilience principles
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and permit documentation
- Collaborate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license (required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ and TxDOT regulations
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with BIM/CIM implementation in infrastructure projects
