Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for concurrent initiatives
- Develop comprehensive engineering reports and regulatory compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (municipalities, contractors)
- Implement sustainable design principles and emerging technologies (BIM, GIS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in Texas TxDOT and municipal permitting processes
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and FEMA floodplain regulations
