Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (TCEQ, FEMA) and sustainability standards (LEED)
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (DOT, municipalities)
- Develop detailed construction documentation and specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Expertise in transportation engineering, hydraulic modeling, and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Familiarity with BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing 5+ person teams
- Advanced knowledge of local permitting processes and environmental regulations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
