Responsibilities
- Design and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from conceptualization to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and structural feasibility studies
- Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for 3D modeling and project visualization
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure rehabilitation projects
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Proven leadership managing teams of 5+ engineers
