Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
- Prepare detailed technical reports and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in structural analysis and geotechnical engineering principles
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and construction management software
- Proven track record of managing projects over $50M
- Strong knowledge of Chicago municipal codes and ADA compliance
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
