Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for large-scale infrastructure developments including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Conduct advanced structural analysis and geotechnical assessments using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee construction compliance with federal/state regulations (TxDOT, FEMA) and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions targeting LEED certification and resilience against extreme weather events
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and environmental specialists
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, cost estimates, and bid proposals for municipal and private sector clients
- Represent firm at public hearings and stakeholder negotiations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS) and geotechnical analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value
- Advanced knowledge of TxDOT standards, AASHTO LRFD, and International Building Codes
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred
