Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for transportation, water resources, and structural projects
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists)
- Develop innovative solutions for complex site constraints and sustainability challenges
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications for client review
- Conduct site investigations and construction phase quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record with large-scale municipal or transportation projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and local permitting processes
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
- Experience with BIM/CIM implementation in engineering workflows
