Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors)
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions for urban resilience and climate adaptation
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, proposals, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success leading projects exceeding $10M in value
- Expert knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA standards
- Strong analytical skills with experience in geotechnical investigations
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
