Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee construction site operations ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining environmental sustainability standards
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare detailed technical reports, permits, and project documentation
- Implement BIM technologies to enhance project delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license (Illinois) with strong knowledge of local building codes
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/BIM software and project management tools
