Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Develop cost-effective solutions balancing technical requirements, sustainability goals, and budget constraints
- Ensure adherence to FEMA, TCEQ, and international building codes
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license required with 8+ years of progressive experience
- Expertise in infrastructure design (transportation, water resources, structural systems)
- Proven track record leading $50M+ infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and digital engineering workflows
- Strong understanding of resilient infrastructure and climate adaptation strategies
- Experience with public-private partnership (P3) project delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills
