Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and environmental solutions
- Develop detailed construction documentation including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA compliance standards
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification highly desirable
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities for complex engineering challenges
