Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Oversee project lifecycle from conception through construction, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to resolve technical challenges
- Develop cost estimates and construction documentation using industry-standard software
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new development projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Experience with FEMA floodplain modeling and environmental compliance
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
