Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Manage project lifecycle from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and safety standards
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating LEED certification principles
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, and construction plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in leadership roles
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, InfraWorks)
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure projects exceeding $50M
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to optimize complex systems
