Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and transit systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations (TCEQ, FHWA)
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Develop detailed engineering specifications and construction documentation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M in value
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and engineering software suites
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
