Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks and water systems
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural feasibility studies
- Develop comprehensive project plans with budgetary controls and milestone tracking
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental scientists, contractors)
- Ensure compliance with ASCE standards, local regulations, and sustainability protocols
- Utilize BIM software (Revit/Civil 3D) for precision modeling and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews for technical excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain immediately
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable engineering practices
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex site challenges
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
