Responsibilities
- Design and supervise complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in project planning, execution, and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis for foundation design
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules using Primavera P6
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Coordinate with environmental specialists for sustainable development solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Demonstrated experience with FEMA floodplain modeling and stormwater management
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT design standards and permitting processes
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
