Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and geotechnical analyses
- Develop detailed construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and OSHA regulations
- Present technical proposals to municipal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale transportation or water resources projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation preferred
- Proven project management with PMP certification or equivalent
