Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using Primavera P6
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors)
- Ensure adherence to ADA, AASHTO, and local municipal codes
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical training sessions
- Develop sustainable design solutions using Auto Civil 3D and Revit
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or municipal engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ permitting processes and FEMA floodplain regulations
- Demonstrated experience managing projects over $10M
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills
