Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, and transit systems
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and compliance reviews for municipal projects
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using advanced BIM tools
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, OSHA standards, and sustainability protocols
- Present technical proposals to city agencies and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure project delivery
- PE license in New York State (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record with NYC Department of Design and Construction projects
- Familiarity with LEED and sustainable engineering practices
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
