Responsibilities
- Design and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams from conception through to project completion
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed developments
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Implement sustainable design practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$50M
- Strong understanding of Houston's geological and regulatory environment
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving and leadership abilities
