Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies using advanced geotechnical software
- Develop comprehensive engineering plans compliant with TxDOT, FEMA, and ICC standards
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Implement BIM technologies and digital twin modeling for enhanced project visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree or PE license preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure focus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS)
- Demonstrated expertise in geotechnical analysis and structural design principles
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $5M in construction value
- Strong knowledge of Texas engineering regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to guide cross-functional teams
- LEED AP certification or sustainable design experience highly desirable
