Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets/schedules
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (TCEQ, FHWA) and industry standards
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction documentation and oversee implementation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement processes
- Utilize BIM/CAD tools for precision modeling and project visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license required with Texas Board of Professional Engineers
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- LEED AP certification or demonstrated sustainability project experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
