Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and smart city developments
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) to optimize material usage and construction efficiency
- Manage project budgets exceeding $50M while ensuring adherence to Singapore Building Construction Authority (BCA) standards
- Coordinate with government agencies (LTA, PUB) for regulatory approvals and environmental impact assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct site inspections to enforce quality control and safety protocols
- Implement sustainable engineering practices targeting Green Mark Platinum certification
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges in Singapore's complex soil conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project delivery
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent Singapore-recognized certification
- Expert proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and BIM tools
- Proven track record in managing complex projects involving deep excavation and marine works
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's Building Control Act and infrastructure regulations
- Chartered Engineer status preferred with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)
- Experience with public-private partnership (PPP) project frameworks
