Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders
- Implement sustainable design practices and innovative construction methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in structural design and transportation infrastructure
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven project management experience with $5M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of local permitting processes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
