Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and construction specialists
- Ensure compliance with local building codes (Texas Department of Transportation standards)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling and stormwater management systems
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $10M
- Familiarity with BIM technologies and construction management software
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
