Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Develop comprehensive project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects over $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and municipal permitting processes
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and client relationship management abilities
