Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, OSHA)
- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical challenges in real-time
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license required with 8+ years of progressive experience
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Proven track record with DOT infrastructure projects
- Strong project management (PMP certification a plus)
- Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification
