Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform detailed structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction and materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale transportation or municipal projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and client relations
- Certification in sustainable infrastructure practices (LEED/Envision preferred)
