Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation, water resources, and structural systems
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, HEC-RAS)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with TxDOT and municipal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional development initiatives
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating LEED and resilient infrastructure principles
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders for seamless project delivery
- Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required (Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expert proficiency in hydraulic modeling and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects >$10M with complex permitting requirements
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards, ADA compliance, and local municipal codes
- Experience with sustainable design practices and green infrastructure systems
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated mentorship experience
- PMP certification preferred
