Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with municipal agencies and stakeholders for permitting and approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Develop innovative sustainable infrastructure solutions addressing climate resilience
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA permitting processes
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- LEED AP BD+C certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication with client-facing experience
