Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from conceptual design to construction supervision
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Lead client presentations and stakeholder communication
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in transportation, structural, or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with complex permitting processes
- Strong leadership skills with project team management experience
- LEED AP certification preferred
