Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including MRT expansions, waterfront developments, and sustainable drainage systems
- Perform structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D) and conduct site inspections to ensure project specifications
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while maintaining compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, architects, and government agencies (LTA, URA)
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges and sustainable construction methodologies
- Prepare technical reports, tender documents, and environmental impact assessments
- Drive quality assurance through material testing and construction monitoring protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with P.E. certification (Singapore)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with 3+ years in Singapore
- Expertise in geotechnical engineering, structural design, and hydraulic modeling
- Proficiency in BIM tools and Singapore's construction safety standards (SS 506)
- Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering complex projects on time
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder management and client presentations
- Experience with Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) processes
- Professional membership in the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)
