Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (bridges, transit, water systems)
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Develop sustainable design solutions for urban environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in structural design and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD tools and engineering analysis software
- Proven track record of managing multimillion-dollar projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and client management skills
