Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Develop innovative solutions using BIM/CIM technologies and sustainable materials to optimize project lifecycle costs
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and environmental specialists during all project phases
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including TCEQ and FHWA standards
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies for new developments
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-million dollar projects
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to firm-wide technical excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and advanced hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and LEED certification requirements
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to municipal boards and stakeholders
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or similar professional designation preferred
