Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards
- Present project proposals to municipal authorities and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in structural analysis, transportation planning, or hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM modeling and geospatial technologies
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Experience with FEMA floodplain modeling and FEMA compliance
- Demonstrated success leading projects with $10M+ budgets
