Responsibilities
- Design and supervise infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed engineering reports
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM technologies for project modeling
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for proposed developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in transportation or water resources projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and structural analysis software
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Familiarity with TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- LEED AP certification a plus
