Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater management systems
- Develop innovative solutions for urban mobility and sustainable water resource management
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental scientists, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Manage project lifecycle from feasibility studies to final commissioning
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Implement BIM technologies and digital twin modeling for project optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and FEMA floodplain regulations
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and public presentation skills
