Responsibilities
- Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including bridges, water treatment facilities, and transportation networks
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure compliance with NYC DEP, DOT, and MTA regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop sustainable solutions for climate-resilient infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing NYC DOT/DEP projects
- Familiarity with NYC Local Laws and sustainability standards
- Strong leadership and client management skills
- MS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering preferred
